Vivekananda Institute of Values launches “Vivek Marg”, a foundational course for future professionals, at Delhi Technological University

Vivekananda Institute of Values (VIVA), an institution established under the aegis of the Ramakrishna Mission (RKM), Gurugram, has conceptualized and designed Vivek Marg, a foundational course for future professionals, under the spiritual guidance of Swami Shantatmananda, a senior monk and Secretary of RKM, Gurugram.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VIVA to offer Vivek Marg as a 2-credit value-added course (VAC) for undergraduates. 31 professors of DTU have been nominated to attend the five day  facilitator development program (FDP) at VIVA today.

The overemphasis on individual success and competitiveness has led to a lack of collaborative efforts in contributing to community service and national welfare, especially among youth. Vivek Marg is VIVA’s response to this challenge. It is unique because it enables students to focus on self-belief from within instead of others’ opinions. By understanding their true nature and infinite potential, through peer and personal learning, they discover a tremendous sense of self-confidence and courage to face life squarely.

Swami Shantatmananda believes that “Vivek Marg will ensure that our future professionals are conscious, harmonious, courageous and full of integrity, enabling them to feel deeply connected to a life filled with purpose and service.
